Recording - For You

I believe this song was the first song I ever officially wrote and recorded; and oddly enough it was a love song. I wrote the first verse and the chorus one day in 2002 and then shelved it for about two years. Then one day in 2004 I picked it up again and brought it over to Jesse's place. I quickly wrote the second verse and the chorus before recording this version on the same day. So I guess, depending on how you look at it, you could say it either took me two years or two days to write this song.

This song basically had four tracks to it. It had two acoustic guitar tracks (using Jesse's insanely cool acoustic guitar), and two vocal tracks. The guitar solo was made while I was in the process of recording the song. And for those of you with a better sense of beat than I have who can, perhaps, notice variances in the tempo, the beat was basically non-existant (I followed the beat in my head). Overall it was a pretty good tune.

Also as a side note, when you turn this song backwards you can hear me say ALL KINDS of things about satan. It's weird, but I assure you, quite unintentional.
