Jaron's Olde Dreams #1: Christy's Giant Shoe | Alright ladies and gents,
Here follows what I think is the first of my really old dreams. I believe I had this one when I was 4-6 years old (most likely when I was 6).
I had a dream that I was in a very plain white room with my older sister, Christy. She was tying her shoe. As she was tying it it began to grow larger and larger, until it was taller than me, and certainly much longer. As it was growing she began trying to stomp on me with it. At this point, I distinctly remember an outside view of myself running around in circles, ducking, and scurrying from under the giant shoe as she was turning this way and that trying to stomp on me with it.
That's about it all I can remember. I vaguely, vaguely remember something about frogs and gifts being in another set of white rooms attached to the room I eventually found Christy in, but I'm not even sure if this was a part of the same dream. I also tried attaching my "hell" dream to this one as time wore on, but I'm pretty sure that was part of a different dream on a different night.
So there you have it. Quite possible my first dream. 2 Interpretations/Comments | Leave an Interpretation/Comment | August 17, 2009, 1:12 PM
Steve Force and the Musical Ghost | I had two dreams I can remember last night, and I believe they went in this order:
In the first dream, I met Steve Force somewhere; and he looked way older than the last time I saw him. His hair was white and he had wrinkles. I was surprised, because it didn't seem like a long time since the last time I saw him. We exchanged a few words.
In the second dream, I was playing a kid in a grandma's old house. I was sleeping in Brad's old room, when I suddenly heard some piano playing coming from the room across the hall. I knew that it was a ghost who was playing the piano and haunting the room (which is odd, because this is the room that is allegedly haunted in real life).
The next day a man was coming to stay the night in that same room. This man had somehow accidentally (but, ambiguously, with some malice aforethought) caused the man's death who was now haunting this room. He went to sleep, and I went to watch what would happen from a window above the door to the room. Several notes were played on the piano, and the man jolted awake. I knew that it would only get worse, because of the malice the ghost felt for this man. The ghost started singing "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" very quietly every few minutes from the other side of the room. Each time he did it, he woke the man up, or stopped him from going to sleep. He began to sing it louder and louder each time, until he was up in the man's face almost screaming it.
Suddenly I was seeing from the ghost's point of view. I grabbed the man, and put him in some sort of device I imagined up. This device wasn't real, but I was seeing the device superimposed around the man, while he was choking in real life. With some difficulty, he got away and ran out of the room.
As the little boy again, I asked him if he had gotten much sleep, and he told me that he had hardly gotten any sleep. Then, like a movie director, I told the dream (or situation within the dream) that it needed to be more subtle, because it wasn't scary enough. I told it that it should do the piano the first night, "God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman" the next night, and then move up slowly from there.

Money doesn't answer everything | I had a dream where I was on gravel road 122 about halfway between my parent's house and grandma's old house. I was with a group of people and we were trying to use coins to figure something out. To get it to work properly, you had to first press your thumb on an old nickel (preferably a buffalo-backed nickel) leaving behind a permanent fingerprint outlined in black. Getting the timing down on this was difficult. Then you had to place the nickel on a pile of pennies and sprinkle gold. After you did this right, it was supposed to tell you something. I don't think I ever got it right before the dream ended. 0 Interpretations/Comments | Leave an Interpretation/Comment | August 5, 2009, 12:09 PM
A walk with Ryan Love, and a dorm room in the gullies | I technically had this dream on the night of July 7th, and it's taken me this long to post it:
I had a dream that started with me playing some sort of game which I didn't have control of in the end. Wow that's vague.
In the next part of the dream, I was walking along gravel road in the middle of nowhere, when suddenly, I ran into Ryan Love (a guy I know from college). He told me that he'd walked this path before (I guess this means I was knew to it), and proceeded to walk with me. The path took us through Mt. Zion Christian Camp (a camp near my home in Missouri) where we were walking beside the fence towards the woods. The path bent around, took us through double doors, and finally took us out into the gullies in Greenville.
Suddenly we came to a dorm room in the middle of the gullies. It looked like Chad Garrett's old room in Kinney, but in the dream it belonged to Matthew Good (both people I knew from college) and his roommate. They were gone for the summer, but they still had their things lying around. Ryan wrote some scribbles in one of the notebooks, and we promptly left. He told me that he wanted to show me how far this path would take me.
And that's about it. Thoughts? 0 Interpretations/Comments | Leave an Interpretation/Comment |
