Jaron's Olde Dreams #2: Answering the Phone | Alright ladies and gents,
It's time to post another of Jaron's olde dreams. From hence forth, I plan on posting an olde dream every Friday.
Last time I posted about Christy's giant shoe. I thought and thought about my earliest dreams, and I think I had this one back when I lived in Boonville between 1985 and 1987 (I would've been 1-3 years of age). Either that or I had this dream about Boonville (or somehow connected it to Boonville). Anyways, I remember it being in the room where my oldest memory was formed.
I dreamed that I was in my bed (or cradle). I was on the phone to somebody. I remember feeling bad about this, like something was not right. Perhaps I was talking to someone evil? Or maybe I wasn't supposed to be on the phone? Probably the latter.
That's about it. Hey what can I say? It's my oldest dream. The Christy's shoes dream, I'm pretty sure, was somewhere between 1989 and 1990.
Stay tuned next week as I talk about the evil Hamburger Helper glove. 0 Interpretations/Comments | Leave an Interpretation/Comment | November 26, 2009, 10:30 PM
Break on through to the other side | And now for another one! David Hechler, you'll like this one.
David Hechler and I were at my Grandma Davis's old place. We were sitting in the secondary living room with a bunch of other friends. We started singing "the boys are back in town." He'd sing the first part, and I'd sing the echo, and we were trying to pan left and right (I noticed this while listening to the song recently).
Suddenly while we were doing this I started singing the Doors "Break on Through to the Other Side," and David followed. I distinctly remember doing that awesome "Ou, Oh yeah!" part that Morrison does. I did this because it reminded me of the other song. Why? I have know idea.
Stand by this weekend while I find notes I had for an awesome dream. There at my house in Edwardsville somewhere... 0 Interpretations/Comments | Leave an Interpretation/Comment | November 26, 2009, 3:35 PM
The spring-loaded flyer | Here comes another dream. I had it a few days before November 11th, I think (that's what the "date modified" flag says on the infamous "dreams.txt" file.
Anyways I was at my parent's house in Missouri. Suddenly a sort of rocket ship came down and landed next to our cars while we were getting out of the car. It looked like it could carry several passengers, and this tour guide guy was driving it. I thought it would be fun to try it out.
I did, and it became a one-man, flying vehicle. To operate it you had to get inside, bend down, and spring yourself into the air. I spent all day flying over the trees near the creek with this device. I got back to the house and told everybody about my excursion.
That's all I remember. 0 Interpretations/Comments | Leave an Interpretation/Comment | November 26, 2009, 12:06 PM
A game of chinese checkers, and a visit to the Kepley's | Alright, it's time to do some catching up on my dreams. This one was had on October 24th (that's when the notes were saved in a text document).
I was over at what looked like the Moose's place, (a family at my church) or, perhaps, the Weaver's place. I was playing some kind of game with my sister, Christy. It was like chinese checkers where you could hop pieces over each other, except it was five times as big. And there were five or six separate boards together in some sort of flower pattern. The point of the game was to hop of the edge. And the act of hopping off to safety was called something (something I couldn't remember).
Later in the dream, the Kepley family was there. Two of the kids handed me a sheet of paper to sign. I guess they had it in there heads that I was famous somehow. I gave them two signatures on one piece of paper.
The last note I had on this dream was "Christy on drugs," but I've totally forgotten what this is. Read into that whatever you like.
Happy Thanksgiving! 3 Interpretations/Comments | Leave an Interpretation/Comment |
