Two turtles, two cats, and a bottomless pit
Oh man, where do I begin with this one? It's a weird one. I'll start at the first, or what I think is the first (from what I can remember). It started out with my two sister's ratting someone out for doing something shameful. This was at Grandma's old house, and I think it was night time.

In the next part of the dream, we were at my parent's house. Dad bought two small turtles for us kids, and we were petting them and feeding them all kinds of unusual things that night. The very next day, they had grown to about five times as big as they were, and the one I considered mine was really, really ugly. He was bulbous and monstrous, and had a big, weird, round head. The thought of him still makes me shudder, because he was so repulsive. But I tried petting him anyways, and I found out that he was still the nice turtle he was the night before. Later on in the day, dad released this turtle into the wild for some reason. Perhaps it was because of it's sheer ugliness.

Then in the living room of my house, my friend Jesse was over playing guitar. He was playing really excellently. He was showing off, almost. That's about all I remember about that part...

The next part gets really bizarre. You know how dreams have a sort of backstory that you're sure you've heard before? Well this part had a backstory and I'll give that one first. There was this playground where kids were playing, and I was watching them from the side. One kid, for some reason, was in desperate trouble, because he was going to die soon (for some reason), and the death he would have to face was going to be excruciating. He was standing above one of those sliding polls looking down into a bottomless pit. All the other kids were watching him. Somehow we all knew that if he jumped he would die in a much less excruciating way then if he waited. He was pretty well decided that he was going to jump, and we were all waiting for it to happen. But he was glued to the spot, because he was so scared of actually making the jump that would kill him. It was a big decision that would end his life right then and there. I think in the end he jumped, and we all felt really bad for him.

With that backstory in mind, I walked up to the same playground where different children were playing. They had messed up the playground somehow by ripping pieces of it apart. I believe I was getting after them for doing so. I ended up near another pit which wasn't bottomless, but which was as high as my head. I fell into it backwards, but caught myself with my hands. I could've crawled out with a lot of effort, but for some reason, I decided to expend my energy holding myself up. I called on David Hechler for help. He came to help, but he was coming really slowly, and he kept getting distracted. Finally he pulled me out. Oh, and the pit kept alternating from being outside near the playground, to being in the Leonard's house (the Leonards were neighbors who lived down the road from my parents).

David and I walked to a garage, and we were asking the owner's of the garage to let us out. For some reason they were connected to the playground and all of the bad things that happened in that area. I think they were the ones who were keeping the children from getting out. They were going to let us out, but they really didn't care one way or they other if we did or not. We had to make sure not to hurt their pride, or get on their bad side, because they had the power to keep us in. They finally did let us out.

The dream ended with news that one of our two cats had died. Dad told me that he was the brother of our cat Clancy, and I think that there was an implication that Clancy was not around anymore. It somehow made sense to me, because Clancy was so "stupid". (In real life, my parent's have a cat, still alive, named Clancy who we always tease as being stupid).

Oh man, this dream sounded more depressing when written out than it actually felt. And there were some weird, weird themes in this one. I think that this officially classifies as a "nightmare", and I'm starting to wonder what I ate the night before...

Confusion

Trying to figure out what this one means makes my head explode. Any takers?
