Rachel's Bio

Hi, I'm Rachel Elizabeth (Heston) Davis, Jaron's wife. I grew up in Greenville, IL, which is a wonderful little town about 45 minutes east of St. Louis, MO. I also am a Christian, and in fact come from a family of pastors. I met Jaron at Greenville College when we were both freshmen. Throughout my life I have always been a writer and a cartoonist. Telling stories is probably my greatest joy in life, and my fiction stories are an outlet for my imagination and my longings for adventure. My creative non-fiction stories are just my humorous musings and observations on life (and the people in it). My cartoons are a big part of my life, and I am working on what I think will either be a graphic novel or an ongoing series someday. I am also currently working on my first full-length novel, which is a fantasy. My official "job" is as a news clerk at a small-town newspaper, which is nice because I get to use my editing skills. My other hobbies include hanging out with friends and family, playing with our two pet rats (yes I said rats), reading, keeping up with LOST and The Office, exercising, and hanging out with Jaron.
