To The Moon!
Alright, this is one of those awesome dreams. I had a dream last night, wherein, if I jumped high enough, I could land on the moon. At my parent's house. It worked like this:

I would jump several feet off the ground and concentrate on how light I was. I would then flap my arms to gain more height. If my concentration faltered, my ascent would falter at the same rate and I'd eventually drop. Once I left Earth's gravity, I would gently float, then "fall" to the moon.

Once on the moon, I'd generally brave the cold and hold my breath. After I was finished; I'd simply jump off of the moon and fall back to Earth. Needless to say, in my dream, the distance between these two entities was dramatically shorter than in reality (and the moon was much, much smaller; it was more like a sphere with a half-mile diameter.

Now there was some danger in this. I feared losing control on the way to the moon. I feared losing concentration altogether and falling faster than I'd like. I feared running out of breath or freezing on the moon. But I didn't necessarily fear falling back to the Earth. That was easy. And I only feared all of this about as much as one would fear going under water for any length of time. There was a danger there, but it wasn't insurmountable.

So after my first few moon explorations, I went outside to go to the moon again. Rachel didn't want like me doing this, but I thought it was great fun, despite her :) It was evening. And unfortunately, the moon wasn't directly above me, but it was off in the distance at the edge of the horizon. Trying to get to the moon when it was way over there was a problem; I had a greater chance of failure. So I hesitated, then decided against it, until the moon could come closer.
Also I saw the sun in the sky, and I was uncomfortable landing on the moon when the sun was so close (angle wise). Generally the sun had to be far away from the moon for this to work, because I could see it better. And also, I never made any journeys to the moon at night. I really needed to see where I was going. All this made me wary of ever trying to go to the moon again. The experience was rather like growing up and realizing, "Oh, climbing this tree is actually pretty dangerous. I probably shouldn't do this."

In the last part of my dream, I went inside a house with somebody (Rachel?). Moonlight was shining in through a window and bouncing off of a mirror onto glass globe, recreating the surface of the moon for all to see. I started pointing out the bunny on the moon on this tiny, volleyball sized globe. It really, really looked like a rabbit; more than usual. It had vivid details and everything.

I contemplated another journey to the moon.

That's about it! Thoughts?
