The Future of McDonald's?
I fell asleep again after I woke up this morning, and here's what resulted.

Chad and I decided to go to McDonald's, so we walked to the closest one. This was no regular McDonald's. They had about 10 drive-through ordering stations, which could also be walk-up ordering stations if you so desired, and they were arranged in a sort of U shape around three sides of the main building. I don't even think anyone was eating inside.

The cars going through all these stations made everything very crowded and confusing. Chad and I walked through all of them to find an empty one, and discovered that there were different things on the menu at each station. They were all regular real-life menu items, but no one station had the same things listed as another.

One more thing. These stations weren't connected to the main building, so the employees had to bring your food to you (rather like Sonic). They didn't bring it in bags...and don't ask me why...but they had clips at each station where they clipped bare, unwrapped cheeseburgers to the wall for you to take.

Chad and I got really mad when we discovered that people had gotten in the habit of ordering and then just leaving their food clipped to the walls of all these ordering stations. It made it hard to decide which station was actually being used. We finally ordered at an empty station and waited so long that we wandered around the parking lot, killing time.

While waiting, we saw this little girl walk in front of a moving SUV and almost get run over. Luckily they stopped right in time, but when the little girl walked back toward us, she had morphed into a grown-up midget wearing a business suit and carrying a very important-looking messenger bag.

We still hadn't gotten our food when I woke up.

McDonald's would go bankrupt!

Lol, you still didn't get your food? That's a horrid McDonald's! I hope they don't get like that in the future :) It sounds rather like the government (or the administration of Greenville). If I was there I would've nabbed the free hanging cheeseburgers.
