Ben Harrell and a job at Greenville
Last night I had a dream that I was at my parent's house and we were having a big party with lots of people attending. Everything seemed to be going great, and I was having lots of fun. Suddenly out of nowhere, Ben Harrel showed up and told me he wanted to talk to me. I was suspicious at first, but I gave him a listen. He told me that he wanted to hang out again and show me a new album he'd recorded and downloaded to a Gameboy. He handed me the Gameboy, and I began listening to one of the tracks, but I got sidetracked because I had to pour people some tea and give the guests at our house the attention they needed.

I had to leave to go get something, and as I left out of the house I found myself outside of my apartment in Glen Carbon (which was randomly on a hill). I looked over the roof of some of the houses nearby and I noticed the "giant ketchup bottle" water tower in the distance. I thought to myself, "I wonder why I've never noticed before that I could see that from my apartment." I left to head out to somewhere, and when I arrived, I gave Ben Harrel's album a listen. I noticed a heavy use of a monologue synthesizer in the first song, and I thought to myself, "Wow, Ben's become a master of the monosynth." I wanted to talk to Ben about it, and as I was headed back I began to think of how much of an influence Ben and I had had on each other musically and how much we had grown into the same sort of music while we'd been apart.

In another part of the dream (which I'm unsure if it came after, before, or between the above; but I think it came before...) a girl from where I work had recommended a job for me in Greenville, IL. She drove me there, and when I arrived at the building where my interview was supposed to take place, I found that my boss was there as well. The interview didn't "exactly" happen for some reason, and I thanked whoever it was for taking me to Greenville for the interview. Wow, that was vague. Any thoughts...?
