| 3 nights ago I had a dream that Rachel and I bought an older house. After buying, we heard rumors that it was haunted. We wanted to check this out for ourselves, so we went to the house to spend the night. The house was layed out like my Grandma Davis's old house (a room of which is allegedly haunted in real life), and the bedroom we were going to stay in was on the second floor. Upon arriving, we headed up the stairs next to the entrance, which led right to the bedroom. We slept in separate beds; mine was the closest to the staircase. Throughout the night we heard noises and had things happen which were ambiguous in nature. We'd say, "Well that could be a sign that the house was haunted, but it also could've been this other thing." So at the end of the night we were still uncertain if the house was haunted or not.
Then I had to use the restroom, so I searched the house for it. For some reason it existed on this porch which had both a screen door and a window you could see through. I began using this restroom, and I looked cautiously out the window to see if there were any intruders. An older neighbor lady came casually strolling by, and I couldn't tell if she noticed if I was there or not. She wouldn't go away, so I was simultaneously watching her to see what she would do and maneuvering so that she couldn't see what I was doing. Weird, huh? What does it mean? In the days preceding this dream, Rachel and I had been looking into possibly buying a house, so I'm guessing this is connected somehow. I'll think about it further and get back to you. Any thoughts? |
Interpretation/Comment by Christy on January 21, 2009, 2:52 AM Hmmmmm o.O *Scratches head* Not to sure what to tell ya bro but it reminds me of those few reoccuring dreams I had several years ago though the house I saw wasn't Grandma's. Most of my freaky realistic feelings dreams take place at Grandma Davis' or Grampa's Kuhn's. Sometimes I think its during times when I'm having a big decision to make or a really hard/stressful time. SO maybe your dreams were putting your anxieties into a form of something familiar like that house...though I am not sure about the haunted part..o.O. |
