| I had a dream last night wherein the CAT went up to 45 dollars a share. I sold short, expecting the CAT to go down by 5% or so, so that I could buy stock in it again. I saw a chart which some expert had made to predict the future of stocks and was basing my decision on this, because the chart had been quite accurate in the past in predicting which stocks would rise and fall. The actual line of how stocks rose or fell was superimposed on the chart, and matched it almost flawlessly. I saw also that I should hold onto the GOOG, because it was about to jump in leaps and bounds...
So is it a prediction of how the stock market will pan out in the future, or my own personal thoughts on the frustration of trying to be a market timer? You decide... |
