| So I never dream like this, but last night I had a nightmare about winter zombies.
The dream began as a normal situation of some party or meeting. There were a lot of people in an apartment complex (not like mine, thankfully), and it seemed as if I knew a few people well but some I did not know at all. But soon, some of the people began to act strange. They began to seem very disoriented, and they would babble nonsense and act as if they knew not where they were. The first one turned and came after me. The zombie had a blank stare, and his face had a blue tint- he looked frozen. The area around his mouth looked as if he had recently eaten a blue raspberry lollipop. With the help of others, we pushed the zombie out of the apartment. It was strange, the zombie did not try to bite us, but I knew it would "get" us if we let him. Soon others began to turn. An old man began to act disoriented, so we pushed him out before he turned blue. There was another apartment next to us that was having the same problem (this apartment had the attractive guy). They pushed out a young woman with a girl who looked about three. We put the three-year old on the closed-in porch of the apartment, because we didn't know if she was infected or not. The woman the other apartment had pushed out didn't fight, but after she turned she just stood at the window, staring in with blank eyes. I remember not wanting to hurt or kill the zombies, because I felt that if I could find the cure, the people would be saved- it wasn't their fault they were zombies. I especially wanted to save the little three year old. The attractive guy and I had a moment of peace out on the porch, and we were trying to figure out what it was. We couldn't figure out how the "disease" was getting inside. I said "hopefully no one else inside will turn." And then another person came up to us babbling, and we turned to each other, sighed, and began to fight him out the door. I remember not being scared in the dream, just trying to figure out how to save the people. I was scared when I woke up though-- it was creepy thinking of zombies staring in the windows. What do you think it means? :) |

Interpretation/Comment by Eric Folsom on November 25, 2009, 11:14 AM You should play or read about Left 4 Dead (PC game If this was fan fiction for that game, I could tell you exactly why those things were happening. The "zombie" virus passed around like the flu, if you were not becoming an "infected" then that means...you're a carrier for the virus. That's why people in your place kept turning even with the infected outside, you were passing it to them. Now what does the dream mean? I have no clue, I'm not good at those things, sorry. Awesome dream though, I love the description of eating a blue raspberry. |
