Very Few Presidents Haved Taxed the Rich Since 1913
The Democrats want tax increases for the rich? Are they kidding me? Since the advent of the income tax in 1913, very few presidents have taxed the income of the rich at a rate above the already outrageous levels we're seeing today for 50% or more of their presidency. Namely:

Woodrow Wilson (50% of his presidency): He thought the increase would actually PAY for WW1.
Warren G. Harding (100%)
Calvin Coolidge (50%): Well, he did drop taxes on the rich to record lows 4 years before a little known Depression...
Franklin D. Roosevelt (100%): He thought that rates almost 3x what we're seeing today would pay for WW2 and help us out of the aforementioned Depression. Hmmmm.
Harry S. Truman (100%): SEE FDR and raise a Korean War.
Dwight D. Eisenhower (100%): SEE Harry Truman.
John F. Kennedy (100%): SEE Harry Truman.
Lyndon B. Johnson (100%)
Richard Nixon (100%)
Gerald R. Ford (100%)
Jimmy Carter (100%)
Ronald Reagon (87.5%)
Bill Clinton (100%)

And now for the lengthy and illustrious list of presidents who taxed the income of the rich at rates at or below our current rates:

Herbert Hoover (75% of his presidency): He raised them again at the end of his presidency; tisk, tisk.
George H. W. Bush (100%): And the economy was beautiful in 92...
George W. Bush (75%): And all the bad that happened here was a little known Recession...
Barack Obama (100%): Now he's wanting to raise taxes again to pay for two wars and a Recession? Really? It's never helped before.

Oh... wait... no...
